Look3
Festival of the Photograph

James Nachtwey, left, during an insight interview with Mary Ann Golan commenting on the photograph displayed: "Here is a man who had absolutely nothing. Yet he still had the will to move on. He still had his dignity. He still had hope. If he didn't lose hope, how could anyone lose hope? And if he didn't give up, how could anyone give up?

Downtown Charlottesville during the festival: alive with people, banners hanging from lamp posts and photographs displayed in the trees.

The room where Edgar Allen Poe lived as a student on the campus of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
